INTULINK™ DIU485 IntuLink Interface

The DIU485 is a USB Interface for Intusonic’s RS-485 enabled audio control systems, taking into account the reversed data+ and data- lines of the INTUGRID™ topology. It allows the remote control of INTUGRID™-enabled devices, and likewise enabes the user/installer to configure these devices by e.g. determining source name labels or device names. Catering more for the installer than the end user, the DIU485 is hence an indispensible tool to quickly and swiftly set up an INTUGRID™-enabled system, and to check and confirm whether system communication works. It can likewise be used to trigger events manually for diagnostic purposes and to update firmware over the serial connection. Using the ubiquitious FTDI FT232RL core chip grants universal compatibility with all USB systems, and sporting TVS bus protection gives this unit industrial-grade ruggedness.
